Founded in February 2019 by the visionary Trenell A. McCauley, SIT blossomed from a heartfelt encouragement by her beloved husband and daughter, reigniting the spark in her eyes as she embraced her true passion.

 Trenell's journey into the world of fashion and styling began in her teenage years, evolving into a profound love for creating serene environments infused with class and elegance. With a heart full of warmth and a desire to spread beauty, she found herself naturally offering styling and designing advice to friends and family, paving the way for the birth of SIT.

At SIT, we are not just an interior design company; we are your partners in creating spaces that resonate with your soul. Specializing in interior designing for both residential and commercial spaces, home staging, renovation management, and meticulous floor planning, we strive to make every project a reflection of your unique style and personality.

 Hailing from the vibrant community of Prince George's County, Maryland, Trenell brings with her a legacy of entrepreneurial spirit and determination. Despite facing challenges along her journey, she never lost sight of her dreams, knowing that every setback was a steppingstone towards her ultimate goal.

 Trenell's signature style can be described as a bold modern/contemporary mix with a touch of glamour, reflecting her unwavering commitment to creating spaces that exude sophistication and comfort.

Driven by a deep-rooted passion for beauty and serenity, Trenell expanded her creative horizons with the launch of her aromatherapy candle line in September 2022. Infused with essential oils and hand-poured with 100% coconut soy wax, these candles not only cleanse the air but also evoke a sense of relaxation and stimulate the mind and memory.

 At the heart of SIT is Trenell's unwavering dedication to her family and faith, which serves as the foundation of her success. We learn more about you, your needs, your goals, your aspirations, your priorities, and your expected milestones. We source inspiration based on our conversations, we begin to plan the design, and make sure you have a realistic budget based on the discovery.

Discovery & Aesthetic Development

Design Development

We begin to create inspiration boards and/or 3-D rendering; we provide you with a list of items to select that best capture your vision. Please note that this stage requires active feedback and/or approval as we serve as your thought partner.

It’s time to purchase the items to bring your vision to fruition. We can purchase the items on your behalf (online or in-store), you can go shopping with us, or we can send shopping links directly to you to purchase. We will work with the vendors (painters, electricians, plumbers, etc.) to ensure proper execution of the design.

After looking into replacing cabinets and countertops, we realized that the cost would be beyond what we wanted to spend on a remodel, so we reached out to several interior decorators to see how we could remodel without replacing cabinets and appliances. Trenell's vision for updating the cabinets was what sold us on using her services. She had the cabinets modified to draw the eye up and give more visual impact, had them painted, replaced hardware, light fixtures, and countertops. The transformation is amazing!
